Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal
Notice is hereby given that the City of Newark, Ohio has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal of (.1%) for programs funded and authorized by the Federal Transportation Administration for federal fiscal year 2009 (October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009). Information regarding the proposed goal and its rationale will be available for public inspection for a period of 30 days following the date of publication of this notice. The information can be reviewed in the Transit Operations Office at Newark City Hall, 40 West Main Street, 1st Floor, Newark, Ohio between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Written comments addressed to the Transit Operations Department c/o the Department of Community Development at the address listed above, or to the Federal Transit Administration, Region 5, 200 West Adams Street, Suite 320, Chicago, Illinois 60606 will be accepted for up to 45 days following the publication of this notice.
